Recruitment/Membership:
How to become a member of The LEGION.
1.) Register on the forums
2.) Post who you are and your desire to join. Introduce yourself and get some of us on your friendlist
3.) We will ONLY invite friends and people that we know. What does that mean? It means that we are looking for those people who want to part of our family. People who run with our SG teams on a regular basis, know our members, and know what we try to personify as an SG. People who are our friends. With an SG the size of The LEGION, our space is limited, and we are VERY picky. There are no trials (per say), and no guarantees. We have a "family" type and very laid back atmosphere here, we want to add members that will continue to enhance this!
4.) Join the "LegionFriends" public global chat channel. Be active on there and get onto our teams. Get to know us and let us get to know you. That is how the process begins.
5.) Throughout this process, you will be in contact with our Aquilifers (or Recruit Liason) or members of leadership. This person will be there to provide information, answer any questions, give help, and generally get you familiar with The LEGION and how we operate. This will be your main point of contact in addition to the Leadership. The process ideally will last about a week where the new recruit will need to run on a team or teams with at least 2 members of leadership. We will decide after that.

Forum Registration: All prospective and current members MUST be registered in our forums. All new recruits must post thier desire to join in the recruit thread. (as mentioned above)
Inactivity: 30-60 days. (very loose policy as we know RL can get ya sometimes). Any members removed for inactivity have an open invitation to return!
Alts: Have as many as you like, We have The LEGION Elite and The Fallen LEGION Ballista SGs to house any alts that you may want in.
Know who your leaders are: We are here to help in anyway and a list of the leaders can be found in the left column of this page under "LEGION members"

As far as rules go:
1.) Courtesy and respect to and for all others, SG or not. This is what The LEGION is known for! Please do your part to continue to enhance this! Of course always bear in mind that we WILL protect our own. If the need arises for us to come to the defense of an SG mate, then the gloves come off, and have at it!!
2.) We DO NOT accept powerlevel requests. If someone /t's you for a pwrlvl, explain to them that you earned your powers and they should do the same.
3.) Check in with your SG mates when you sign in. No requirement on teaming, and soloing is needed at times, but look to your SG mates for teams 1st. KEEP /HIDE TURNED OFF. If you want to solo, let your SG mates know that you are going into hide mode. If you are starting a team, ask your SG mates 1st, then ask people outside the SG. We want everyone to run with us!!
4.) This is YOUR SG!!! Make it as good as all of you are!! We want to be the premier SG on Liberty
5.) PROMOTE US!!!!! give out the site address www.thelegioncoh.net, invite guest to check out our boards, etc., etc........ Even if they don't want to join us, we want them mentioning us!!
6.) I DO want to see all SG members registered and active on our forums.....you don't have to post a lot, but we need it so everyone has a voice, and can read everyones opinions and ideas! Also make sure you are reading the Liberty forums on the CoH site.
7.) Chat Ettiquite: All LEGION members will conduct themselves at all time on the local/broadcast/request chat channels. We do not need to engage in verbal exchanges, as our groups actions for the good of the community will speak for themselves. Any member who is having a problem with another toon outside of the SG should let one of the leaders know so that we can assist if needed. Any prolonged inter-personal conversation should be taken to /t's, as not to spam up the Global Channel.
8.) LEGION loyalty: while we will not dictate how our members place toons in the CoH/CoV universe, in terms of other SGs, we will require that The LEGION comes 1st. The constant improvement of our SG should be priority one. Any member who has toons in other SGs and participates in a raid on any LEGION base will be removed from our membership. This is our family, we want to keep it that way
